Belgrade, Feb 11 (Tanjug - abridged) - Deputy Main Prosecutor of the Hague Tribunal Graham Blewitt admitted that the acquittal decision of the Hague Tribunal for Zejnel Delalic indicted for the crimes against the Serbs in the Celebici concentration camp, was a mistake.

The state delegation of Yugoslavia, consisting of Prof. Zoran Stojanovic, Dr. Djordje Ignjatovic and judge Ilija Simic, came back from the working visit to the Hague Tribunal.

They had talks with the Main Prosecutor Louise Arbour, Blewitt and the Tribunal teams investigating crimes against the Serbs during the war on the territory of former Yugoslavia, committed by Croats and Muslims.

The objective of the visit was expressing dissatisfaction of the Serbian side due to slow work of the Tribunal in cases where the victims were the Serbs. They particularly pointed out the dissatisfaction with the acquittal decision for Zejnel Delalic and low sentences for other suspects. Last November the Tribunal acquitted Delalic, Landzo got 15 and Delic 20 years of prison. Mucic got only seven years.

The delegation brought proofs against Delalic. Blewitt agreed that the Tribunal had made a mistake and informed them that the prosecution had filed a complaint.
