Kokin Brod, Prijepolje, Dec 4 (Tanjug).- Envoy of Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic, MP Karolj Kasas opened Saturday a new road bridge across the Uvac river in Kokin Brod, near Uzice, central Serbia.

The bridge has a great importance for traffic and for economic development in the area, and is a great symbol of Yugoslavia's victory and of the defeat of the NATO aggressors, Kasas told a rally at the opening ceremony.

Kasas also opened to traffic a new road bridge across the Lim river in Prijepolje.

Serbia will continue building bridges that will help in economic development and cooperation and that constitute links between peoples that no aggressor can destroy, Kasas said.

The people of Serbia will defend themselves from anyone wishing to annihilate and divide them, Kasas told a rally in Prijepolje.

NATO bombed bridges in the two towns during its aggression on Yugoslavia last spring.
