Pristina, February 27th - The Yugoslav Committee for Cooperation with the UN Mission in Kosovo-Metohija held a special session, chaired by the co president Zivota Cosic, in regard to the most recent crimes committed by ethnic-Albanian terrorists in Gnjilane, in which Dr. Josif Vasic, a gynecologists of the Gnjilane General Hospital, lost his life and Vjenceslav Grozdanovic, a specialist in medical biochemistry, was wounded.

In a classical act of an assassination, a life of a humanist, Dr. Vasic, was extinguished, a man who, along with Grozdanovic and few other medical workers, worked in an improvised clinic in the St. Nikola church back yard in Gnjilane, offering health care to the Serb and non-Albanian population after the expulsion of all non-Albanian medical workers from the Health Center in this town. The Yugoslav Committee put in a strong protest for the fact that Dr. Vasic was denied of protection even after the frequent threats and an assault that took place two weeks ago by the ethnic-Albanian terrorists, whose identity is unknown to the KFOR and the international police.
