Buducnost said farewell to Euroleague, after defeat by Panathinaikos in Athens, in the third eighth-final play-off match.

After brilliant play and convincing win over Greek team in the second match, nobody expected that Panathinaikos would recorded an easy victory in the third match. After 11 minutes, hosts had a 22-9 lead thanks to better play in defence. At the start of the second half Buducnost cut the deficit to six points, but couldn't get any closer.
